Do you have a ukulele club? And other questions, answered.
It stands to reason you’ll have a lot of questions about us—this is a big decision to make. We’ve assembled a bunch of questions we’ve been asked. If you don’t see yours here, give us a shout. We’ll find the answer for you (and we might add it to this page). By the way, we do have a ukulele club. It’s just one of many active clubs you’ll find at Mirabella.
We have 286 Independent Living apartments and more than 100 apartments for residents living in higher levels of care.
You’ll find 52 different floor plans to choose from in Independent Living (yep, we counted), varying from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom apartments in sizes up to 2,200 square feet.
Of course—we’d be insulted if you didn’t come to live with your human. We love you and all the pets here, and we consider you part of our family. That’s why we don’t charge your human a monthly pet fee.
There’s so much you might choose to do here. Where to start, where to start. We have a Studio X dance studio, decked-out fitness center, two pools and a hot tub, full performance hall, casual bar and lounge, courtyard with dog run, game room, huge library curated by the resident committee with bestsellers and new books from the Seattle Public Library, art room, woodshop, and more. A new resident recently told us that if someone’s bored, it’s their own fault.
We have four restaurants on campus—grab-and-go, casual dining, and formal dining. We also have a full-service bar and lounge. There are any number of restaurants within a 10-minute walk of our front door, but you may never find a reason to go exploring. Our culinary staff keeps menus and ingredients fresher than the seafood at Pike Place Fish Market.
You bet your gluten you’ll find plenty of good stuff to eat. Our culinary team can accommodate all kinds of dietary needs, from gluten- and dairy-free to heart-healthy, low-sodium, vegetarian, and other diets. Our resident committee meets regularly to provide us with feedback so we can constantly make menu adjustments.
We have no plans to let you slow down either. We’re committed to helping you stay as active as possible. We offer daily exercise classes like aquatic classes, tai chi, line dancing, water volleyball, barre classes, and then some. We’ll provide you with one-on-one personal training with a licensed personal trainer to make sure you’re getting the most out of your workout. One more thing: Physical wellness is just one of the six dimensions of wellness we emphasize so you can enjoy a happier, healthier life.
You could call us a one-stop shop, because nearly all services in Independent Living are included in the Monthly Fee. This includes your own personal Wi-Fi, cable package, landline, biweekly housekeeping, individually controlled AC and heat, utilities, and a points-based meal plan. It’s almost easier to say what’s NOT included in the Monthly Fee.
We have underground valet parking; if you have an electric car (that’s cool!), we have multiple EV hookups available.
We do! Our centralized location makes it easy to get around. We have a town car, a van, and two buses. You can reserve transportation for your personal appointments; we also use our vehicles for both pickup and drop-off for group outings to places like local theaters, the local tulip festival, and more.
Yep, we looked it up just to be sure. That club is just one of the many we have here. They’re all resident-led, too. And the community doesn’t decide what clubs to offer; residents do. If you move in and don’t find something you want to do, start up your own group. That’s how the ukulele club got started.
